Terms and Conditions

1. By using this e-commerce website, the Customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

 Exchange Cylinder Readiness and cylinders accepted for exchange

2. Ensure your exchange cylinder is available for collection when your gas is delivered.

3. Cylinders are exchanged on a one-for-one basis, requiring no financial transaction. The website has a list of accepted cylinders for exchange. Exchanges will only be accepted if the cylinder offered is on the accepted list.

4. Should a customer not have a cylinder that Gas2Home accepts at the time of delivery, the order will be refunded, minus the delivery fee and 10% of the selling price to cover processing costs.

LPG/Gas Services

4. Gas2Home allows customers to order and purchase LPG in pre-packaged cylinders. Gas2Home is committed to adhering to all applicable safety regulations regarding LPG.

5. Our drivers hold valid PrDP permits for transporting gas, and our vehicles are certified to carry dangerous goods in compliance with legislation.

6. All gas cylinders will be delivered with a sealed valve; if the seal is missing, you have the right to refuse the delivery

7. Gas2Home is available in select areas, as our website indicates. We will update the site periodically as new delivery zones are added

8.  Gas2Home reserves the right to discontinue service to individual customers in cases of repeated failed deliveries due to customer unavailability. A credit will be issued for the returned goods, excluding the delivery and transactional fees. 

Communications

9. All communications will be conducted via WhatsApp or email.

Registration

10. The Customer is responsible for ensuring their accurate and up-to-date details.

Customer Consent

11. By using this e-commerce platform, Customers consent to process their personal information for purposes of the gas2home website only.

12. Customers may request corrections or deletion of their personal information anytime.

13. Gas2Home will not share Customer information with third parties except with software providers essential for website functionality.

14. Personal information is protected as required by law.

Contact Information

15. Customers must ensure their contact and delivery details are accurate to receive offers and successful deliveries.

16. Security

Customers must keep their login details confidential and are responsible for all activities conducted under their account.

17. Orders

Orders must be placed through the website. Customers must confirm delivery details and payment at checkout.

18. Risk & Ownership

Ownership and risk transfer to the Customer upon delivery. Any issues must be reported via WhatsApp for credits or refunds.

19. Delivery to Specific Areas

Gas2Home delivers only to specific areas. Delivery times and conditions may vary.

20. Delivery Guarantee

Gas2Home guarantees delivery within the requested time slot or as arranged. The delivery fee may be refunded if there is a significant delay without a valid reason. A valid reason may, for example, be severe weather conditions and accidents on the road holding up the delivery vehicle in your area.

21. Liability

Gas2Home is not liable for delays, losses, or damages beyond its control.

22. VAT

Please note that Gas2Home is not registered for VAT (Value-Added Tax) in South Africa and, as such, does not charge VAT on any products sold.
